Rioja, Spain Made from 100% Tempranillo from a superb 10-hectare vineyard on a prominent hillside, at an altitude of 600 metres, overlooking Navarrete in the Rioja Alta. The soil in this vineyard is extremely poor and rocky and yields are 30% below the average for Rioja, resulting in wines of great concentration and richness.
