Luis Felipe Edwards Gran Reserva Malbec, 75cl
Colchagua Valley, Chile Intense purple colour, with aromas of strawberry, raspberry, blackberry and forest fruits. Shows elegant notes of vanilla spice acquired during the year the wine spends ageing in a mixture of French and American oak barrels; this complements the grapes natural spicy nature. In the mouth, it is well structured, intense and vibrant, with round, soft tannins, and a lingering and complex finish. The fermentation takes place in large vats lasting about four weeks; the grape skins are kept in close contact with the developing wine at this point to extract as much flavour as possible.
